Como parte da nossa missão em melhorar a vida das pessoas, movendo e energizando um mundo mais próspero, unimos nossas forças em parceria com a ONG Atados para promover o Projeto Mentoria MAIS. O objetivo é transformar o futuro dos alunos em vulnerabilidade socioeconômica, matriculados no ensino médio de escolas públicas, através de sessões de mentoria com líderes da Cummins e palestras com temas complementares voltadas para carreira,contribuindo para o desenvolvimento e preparação profissional.
“A vida desses estudantes não é fácil, mas; no momento em que eles topam o desafio e se propõem a sair do que estão acostumados, permitindo-se desenvolver, conhecer pessoas novas, pensar e falar sobre futuro; pra mim, eles(as) já deram um passo gigante para vencer, até porque nem sempre tem apoio. O que os mentores fizeram, foi apoiar os sonhos, criando uma ponte para os estudantes realizarem seus objetivos em busca de um mundo melhor. Muito obrigada a todos envolvidos(as) nesse projeto. Além da ONG Atados, a Mentoria MAIS contou com a parceria do Projeto Cummins CBS TEC School e da escola Zilda Romeiro. Para que todos conseguissem participar, foram oferecidas sessões de mentoria em formato híbrido, além da experiência em visitar a nossa fábrica e conhecer de perto os processos e poder tirar dúvidas diretamente com os profissionais. “Ensinar é a melhor forma de aprender. Eu sempre penso que dividir conhecimento, agrega e faz com que possamos nos desenvolver, e a Mentoria MAIS foi justamente isso. Sou grato aos líderes que me incluíram neste projeto.” Comentou Jean S Limongi – Supervisor de Qualidade Cliente.
Essa 1ª edição do Projeto Mentoria MAIS foi um SUCESSO, e tem mais pela frente! Já estamos preparando a segunda edição. Tivemos uma aderência de mais de 400 horas de voluntariado, cerca de 35 pessoas engajadas, entre elas: 15 estudantes da escola Zilda Romeiro e 15 colaboradores Cummins.
